After looking in this thread I've released the amounts of possibilities there are. I want to fit some new seats (non mini).

Looking not to pay over £120.

Have been looking at rover 800 Vitesse Recaros, Mazda Mx5 seats etc.

Any suggestions which are the best for my price?

Would prefer them to be Black ideally.

Ali

the Cobra seats shown on page one are the Le Mans seats, they are called cobra recliners on mini-sparesonline.co.uk (huddersfield minis)

cheers

It'd be good if you stated whether they allow for passengers in the back too.

oops sorry, and yes you can get passengers in the back with these, cobra do the rear seat covers to match the fronts and you can also get door cars to match to so a full interior. the seats recline move forward and back.. not sure about tipping forward though like the original's.

Hi boys and girls, new to these forums so hello.

I'm hopefully getting my first mini around april time and i'm doing a bit of research.
The mini will be used as a sunday drive / track day car to have some fun in and enjoy :shy:

It will be a 2 seater but looking at different opinions my first choice of having the Cobra Clubmans has been given a bit of a blow. I've heard the material fades quickly etc etc so i'm looking at the Monacos at the moment. The real + is that they are FIA approved so you know they will deliver but i have a question about them.

I'm quite tall (6ft 1) and would have the seats quite far back, only i've notcied that the monaco's have the "wings" (call them what you will) on the sides. Is there any known problems with fitting these in? I.E - problems fitting them past the door uprights etc

Cheers

Chris

I'm split between the cobra classics and cobra le mans myself, I'd get the classics but does that mean that there's no access to the rear seats? I dont really carry many people but it'd be nice to know it's there if I plan on using them. The le mans are gorgeous but the set is pretty expensive :)

Rover 800 Vitesse Recaros fit. No tilt mechanism though as they are from a 4 door car.

Very comfy :)
