Fitted MG TF half lether fronts and Alfa GTV leather rears ...The GTV's fit really well, the MG TF's just made brackets to fit the original Mini seat fixings.....They tip forward same as original seats, also backs tilt forward by turing the knob..Plenty of room to get in the back

Cobra Monaco Pro's to be fitted in my Mayfair tomorrow.

They fit pretty well on the subframes provided by Minispares (Did take some man handling to get them to line up though) and the test fit went pretty smoothly.
(Not on the comfortable side!)

i have fitted mg zr seats in my mini and even manage to fit the rear seats in by doing some modifications looks amazing and is really comfy aswell !

what mods to subframe were needed

Has anyone fitted Toyota Celica (99 on i think) seats into their mini. they look very comfy and should take a harness if you wanted?

iv just fitted rover 220 gti seats in mine.

The front end went in fine, but the back end needed some modding.

Got an L-Plate and bolted that to the floor, then bolted the L-Plate to the set brackets

put a bit of sealant underneath around the bolts so hopefully i dont get any rust

Can I ask how much you paid for those seats mate, I have a pair of them I'm looking to sell but have no idea what to price them at!!

I bought them off a lad at the mini club for £40 for the pair. They are in pretty good nick so it is quite a bargain!

He said £50 first, but knocked off £10 when i handed him the money!

Although i was ready to give him £60-£80 before he told me the price!

I think it has been mentioned before, but has anyone done anything along the classic lines? Looking to take the Mini in a different direction and wondered what ideas and combinations people might have done. Has anyone taken a comfortable seat and retrimmed in a classic style? Or taken a classic seat from another car and put it into the Mini - something along the lines of the Simca 1000 post earlier on....

If no pictures, what about your thoughts and experiences?

If you look at the top of the page you can see MG TF seats in mine...All i did was make some angled brackets to line up with the standard mini seat fixings and welded them on the seat runners, then welded some supports to the rear of the runners. They do have an knob to turn to tilt the back forward and the seat also tilts the same as the mini seat would
