My seats are from a BMW Z3 and fit a treat! Had to make up some brackets to make them fit though.

damn you got there before me, can you get in the back of yours?

I cant get in the back of mine unfortunatly but i never really have more than 2 people in the car. I ended up taking the motor assembly off because it was making the seat sit too high for me (im 6'3")! I tried the tippy mechanism off the original seats too but just didnt work out! the seats are now bolted through the original front fixings and then welded legs on the back of the seats and bolted through the floor, they sit perfect now.

Its passed 2 Mots like this so i think its ok!

The mother in law!! :) I bought some vinyl off ebay which was areally good colour match and she made me a new back seat cover! The vinyl was about £25 if i remember right for about 10metres, so ive covered other bits and bobs too.

Fiat X1-9 seats will fit, I've got some in the midget which has a narrower seat space

Foldy forwards as well so you could get in the back

used the X1-9 subframes as well, the whole lot's very low, but super comfortable, and only 40 quid for the pair from a scrappers

and you get pub points for having bertone Italian leather :)

This thread is an excellent idea, but just a thought or two on how it might be better: Could you guys please include where you got the seats, specifically from what year/make of car, and approximate price? Just might help those like me who have been considering diff seats for mine.

im looking at getting the cobra classics from minisport with the mini subframes included
i was wondering if they are a good fit width ways, i dont want my cockpit to be taken up by seats
and also, do they hit the rear storage bins?
im quite tall and need the seats quite far back, and the original rover seats hit the bins

can you show me any pictures of yours and what they are like in

I swear that i had posted some pictures in this thread when it first started, but i cannot find it so will post again.

I've got some half leather seats out of a MG ZR, awesome side support and very comfortable. Mounted on custom subframes.
