Has anyone fitted a mini spares boot liner into an spi mini how did you get them to fit?

I've tryed with mine and the only way I can see it will fit is by modding the liner.

Thanks for any answers.

Paul.

are you talking about the plastic moulded type of liner ???

this is actually an original rover part and never really fitted very well. it tends to sit on top of the spare wheel and move around, stripping paint of every thing it touches.

i have one in the loft for the wife's car, we only keep it because it's part of the options pack fitted, but we wont be using it.

how exactly will you need to modify it ???

No, its the actual carpet one quite good quality to. I'm finding it hard to get it past the fuel pipes on the tank and I'm thinking its made to fit a carb'd mini because there is no fuel pipes on the tank itself.
