Looking pretty good I reckon, needs battery box and a reinforcing plate near the pointy bit - but that's another day.
It's getting there - probably order up foam mattress this week.

gets more weight on hook!!!
Will you need more weight on the hook?!
By the looks of it you'll need coilovers and spring helpers on the car - and drive with the jockey wheel down

We'll have to wait & see when I do some dry runs round the farm with it hitched up.
Got cans of Plastic Primer in post today + ordered drilled/grooved discs for front + mintex shoes for back. My cars gonna stop big stylie!!!!
Found mismatch with flipfront & both A-panels on trailer - both appear to be well out of shape, so replacements going on today.
Also "the roof", I said it had dents because it was rolled (stolen, recovered), More dents than heavy water - science joke there fans
Cracking on - more later.

I modified a motorbike trailer and wanted to make sure it was still OK for nose weight, so got a pair of bathroom scales, put an axle stand on them and adjusted the stand to the same height as the hitch on the car, then I zeroed the weight on the scales. I loaded the bikes onto the trailer and maneuvered it so the towing hitch was resting on the axle stand and read off the weight. Luckily it was only 63kgs so it was well within the 75kg nose limit of my Escort.
You need to find out how much nose weight a Mini is rated for. As the guy who fitted my tow bar said, “tow bars are for pulling, not lifting.
