:) Back again with latest update - took short break to carry on construction of l/weight speaker bins + tinkering with my dalek (who??)

Oh my bod - he's killed mini :P

Ok - trailer is now on its slightly battered, dented, scratched roof (after all it was stolen/recovered :ermm: ) and I'm sorting out the holy mess on the floorpan.

Got a panel beating set + uber sucker job to remove those unwanted dents.

I'm loving this - ok, my hands are even more damaged and full of burns, holes and bits of metal but so what. Its better than watching paint grow or grass dry. :P

:teehee: today managed to "collar" some s/steel channel that was being skipped - 3 x 4metre @ 65mm + 3 x 2metre @ 50mm.

That's the undercarriage sorted for trailer - also got off fleebay reversing light/alarm to fit on back of trailer. Emits loud "peeping" sound like a reversing lorry - legal requirement for trailers abroad, I'm told.

Go to work this weekend on "A" frame etc. Watch this space! :dontgetit:

Went to Bee & Screw - how much??? Bolts, washers, spring washers & nutz £20+ :-

Posted Image

Cracked on - lining up axle, drilled holes, bolts in etc. welded bolts in place (just to be sure :) ) then on with the g/fibre to seal up holes.

Posted Image

Phew! enough for today - more fun to come soon. ;)

That 12v electric blanket looks like a brilliant idea. Where did you get it and how much was it?
