At last down to doing the dirty on the trailer!!! But just as I got started, I saw Emma at the end of my drive - what do you think of her, isn't she one hell of a bird

Anyways after a little chat etc. I got down to removing the footwell (I'm 6'3" tall so need extra room for my tootsies when I'm lying down - so bye bye footwell).

Got a load of grommet blanks in post so started filling in holes, also used fine gauge metal to cover larger holes and riveted in place. Put on lick of black hammerstuff.
B4 & Holy

Blanked & Blacked

Just had time before it got dark to make wooden frame to bend metal round for new footwell - PHEW!!!

ps: Just measured the "minshack" what I built out of pallets & stuff - well b*gg+r me, it's 16' x 11'.

Looks like its coming along. Would it not be easier welding up the holes instead of filling the trailer with grommets?

Anyway opened up "Da Minishack", got tools from garage, dragged sheet of 8' x 4' uber tough sheet metal across grass and started setting up. Went into "shack" to get sounds started & got aerial bombardment by resident robin who looked pretty p*ssed at being there and dropped presents on roof of shell b4 flying out!!!!

Put on some orbit, freemasons, artic monks & snow patrol mp3z and tried to cut new footwell pieces

OK gloves off, grinder out and cutting disc loaded - only 3 sides cut & 5 - yes 5 Bosche discs later, I'm ready to start playing at seeing how much weld I can get to stick to titanium, diamond, platinum bullet-proof metal sheet stuff!!!!!!!!
Back into "shack" and load up "rock & weld" music in the shape of Whitesnake, Zepplin & Rammstein (get me in Nurburgring mood).

Going well bottom and back welded and starting on top - using my "jig" and all's going fine till............................................................................
..!!!!!!!
Getting really into it when "HEY - I can catch this hammer with my little finger, WATCH ME" takes over!!!

End of play as looks like I've sprained little finger, just temp strapped it up and need to rest it - The Pain!!!! What a plank

Watch this space for more fun und gamez soon.
