Sorry for no sooner update but La ******* needed some TLC (see State of your car (Brands to N/Burgring)
So what's occuring? (thanx to Scott ).
This weekend opened up da shack and hinged wall/BIG doooooor . Time to put on some boots and take "La ******* 2" out for some fresh air!!!!!
Got my son (Mike) involved and he put in dark blue tinted back window for me. Thanx.
Got 5mm dark blue tint perspex for windscreen and 3mm of same on order for remaining windows.
Decided to start dressing her up a bit, so fitted towing A-frame on front + some lights/chromework as well. Starting to look "a bit of alright", I reckon!!!
My father has checked over the wiring and all lights work. Thanx.
BIG NOOZ - Put scales on front and well well............................................................................
..... only 60kg, So plenty of scope to play with weight distribution/loading inside/boot etc.
A-panels and boot being painted @ mo - will fit soon.
It's gonna happen!!!!!!!!

have you considered plastizote foam for the mattress? its what the roll up skinny camping mattresses are made of but you can buy it commercially quite cheap and in pretty much whatever thickness you like - at 2" thick it would be very comfy and could have maybe 2" of lighter foam bonded to the underside to make it mega-comfy.
real benefit is its totally water resistant and not prone to damp or rot in any way. its also wipe clean
Thanx for the advice on the foamy mattress - I'll look into it.
Went shopping with wifey and spent nearly £50 on curtain materials - Out with sewing machine and get stitched up!!!!!
More fun und gamez this weekend.

Keep it going, only 25 days to go !!!!
Ho Ho Ho you're sooooooooooooooo funny Pie But hey soon be rolling down to Brands eh!!!!!!
Today been putting final top coat on 2 x A-panels + boot. Have made a bit of a tit of myself by mixing paint with standard thinner - wondered why my supposed to be lovely glossy topcoat was as flat as something that looks extremely flat!!!! As I've now run out of paint its gonna have 2 dooo.
Tomorrow will slap on a couple of coats of sooper dooper ultra high gloss lacquer - hope it brings it up some. , we'll see!!
Slapped on back bumper tonight & father put on boot hinges as well - thanx.
Also been putting some top hats in my speaker bins - thats so I can do away with stands.

Hi Tom - as for the bed looks like I'm going down the double size airbed with foam on top + doovay on top of that.
What to do to finish "La ******* 2" - loadz still - too much to list but slowly working through it all.
Decided not to have 4 posta bed with chandelier lights and onsuite loo!!!!!
My Lad (Mike of the Stormtrooper fame - see previous pix) has written of his mini in 7 car pile up on M1 in contra-flow nr Junc 8). He and 2 passengers thankfully ok but car totalled.
Another min RIP.
