They got the colours the wrong way round!
Whoever colourised it got it wrong, this was originally a black and white publicity still from BMC sometime in the '60s.

Is it sad that I've seen almost all of these in the flesh on my travels over the years?
We passed that yellow monstrosity (sorry to the owner if you see this- it looks like an invalid carriage) on our way home from visiting family a couple of months back..... the guy saw Toad and drove round the roudabout twice waving at us

Well that makes perfect sense then......
Considering I may end up in a wheelchair if the arthritis effecting all the joints in my body progresses, I have a sense of humour about these things, As most people in a similar situation do have.......
We cared for my Grandparents for years, both of them needed wheelchair adapted vehicles which were pretty cool, it doesn't stop that one looking horrid does it?!

The guy who built these has built loads of custom cars back in the 80`s,One was a yellow speed boat that u could drive on the road,
His name is Andy (something) will look through some old custom car mags to find out his surname.
I`ve Forgotten it! must be my age!
