i have started on the drivers side now. mini is turned around in the garage. loads more rust this side. sill was made up from two sills and loads of patchwork pieces. all cut out and half way throw with replacing them.
having problems ordering the flipfront hinges from usa. may have to give them a miss and make my own.
i have also gone back on work i have done. i altered the passenger sill i had fitted a oversill and cut it down to a standard sill hard work but i think worth it in the end.

Rover 75 Boot hinges are pretty much spot on for the 'Uplifting' Flip front.

not updated my thread for some time have been busy. went last weekend to mini spares north and got a load of goodies to get my mini back onto it wheels soon.
the bottom of my mini is now RUSTFREE and completely sealed with 3 coats of sealer and por15 as base coat plus seam sealer in ever joint. i have also found hinges to make my flip front vtec style will keep update when i start the front end.
i got myself a new engine low mileage 1275.
