well i thought i will show my progress sofar with my mini.
new to site and enjoyed read other build diaries.
bought for £275 on ebay

i am looking for mini club local. i meet with the minifinity nw members once a month which is great.
but wouldn't mine to meet more mini fans

Looks good so far, does the tube go straight through the rear bulkhead? Im looking at making a tilting frame for when i get around to restoring my estate, but im still deciding which way to go about it. Be sure to keep us updated!

yes the tube is in the bulkhead and rear seat panel.

the spit i not hard to make. brumski told me about this site link i got some ideas from it. but made it with wheels to move it around and braces to stop the legs spreading. the main frame is made from wood as being a joiner that was the easier option.
i will get some more detailed pictures together. i was going to wait until i had my laptop back but i don't know when that will be.

i have not been working on the mini for awhile as i had a eye injury. but have been busy the last few days.
have made my mind up for a flip front american style vtec. but want to keep it mini classic on the outside but power under the hood. first from the lights
