I have all way's fanced something like "100% BMW free" or id "rarther push my mini than own a BMW"

Or perhaps "I'd rather push my Mini than own a highly successful modern British built car whose success helps employ almost 7000 workers in England"...

...yeah, I guess your version is a bit snappier :-

You're right, it is nothing to do with political correctness. I don't think there's anything wrong with a sticker like '100% BMW free'. It's not promoting any kind of -ism and definitely not moronic. You'll find that the owner just holds the simple belief that the only real Minis are the originals and they're proud to drive a British icon rather something with a Mini badge on it.

You reckon that includes the owners of BINIs who have classics with these stickers (there are some)?

In support of Minili, it's nowt to do with political correctness, really (or age). If I see a car at a mini show with some kind of moronic slogan on it (e.g. True Brit, not German.....), no matter how beautiful the car is, it gives an incredibly bad first impression of the owner & puts me off speaking to them....... :-

Your the only person who has ever made a negative comment about this sticker normally puts a smile on peoples faces

Perhaps everyone who has a laugh is moronic in your eyes?

and whats wrong with someone who may possibly own a bini also having a laugh? granted, some people may think me putting 'i dont give a fu*k what you think' on a bini that i may possibly get is going a bit far.

the last sticker i had on a mini read 'sell my mini? i'd rather dip my b*llocks in acid' made my neighbours complain. which seems to be their hobby. the last complaint i got was that i was running a business repairing minis from home. which i wasn't as they were all my cars. they got the council involved.
sorry, better get back to topic!

i have got 1 stcker to put on my mini which reads my other car is a land rover. thats about it.

Perhaps the sticker should extend to point out the fact that: - "at the cost of many thousands more and a famous manufacturing plant in the West Midlands"?

Ha, Taffy, the bait was just too juicy for you

Same 'ere actually, so here we go adding in yours and adding in some more from me:

"I'd rather push my Mini than own a highly successful modern British built car whose success helps employ almost 7000 workers in England... at the cost of many thousands more and a famous manufacturing plant in the West Midlands... keeping another famous manufacturing plant in Cowley, Oxford open and now employing more than were employed at that famous (or for some infamous) West Midlands factory in it's final years..."

Come on , we can all join in and make up the longest, most contradictory window sticker ever - could be fun and I dare someone/anyone to get it made up for their back window (bearing in mind they'll see sod all out of it after it's installed)

See, that will only now fit on a BINI window!

LOL, but don't forget to add "thanks to BMW!" on the end.

:-

I suppose we could also have a "Keep The Hideous Carbuncles Coming BMW, Because We'll Keep Getting Competitively Priced Parts As A Result" sticker?

Yes still too long for a Mini rear window though.

Hee hee, I'm still playing but we really are heading toward something that'll only fit in a BINI back window no matter what the font size :ermm: :teehee:

LOL, do you want that added above too? ;D

......which was (at least in part) baled out by the public purse which meant cut-backs trickled down from the Dept of Trade & Industry (now the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform) so that public-sector innovation, technology & science are now feeling the ripple-effects of a much restricted finacial support"

These window stickers just aren't as quick witted and snappy as they used to be...
