well my old ones were so worn, the rolling road guy said there was no point refurbing them... so these have had a full refurb, 'as new' so yeah... plug in an play i hope! if not... the guy i got them from will have a serious talking too... lol!

total rubbish....

the 'new' carbs are just as bad as my old ones... nice description from the seller...

my dad has offered me the ones from the mk2... ill have a look at them tomorrow, see if they are ok, they should be, as the mk2 has only done 20,000 miles...

well... my dad gave me the carbs off the mk2... as the mk2 has only done 20,000 miles....

they were all good with minimal to no play in the spindles, i stripped them, and cleaned them. i stripped my original carbs, and just to see, i tried the mk2's spindles... low and behold, they fitted with no movement... so, Moss, 2 new spindles and 2 new jets, all put on yesterday. put them back on today, tune up tomorrow!

Those are HS2's yeah? I'm pretty sure that's what I've got on my 1275cc in the garage, unfortunatly previous owner swiped the filter before I could see what was fitted, so I've now got fit my own. Don't know whether to get one big pancake, 2 small pancakes or 2 small cones

Anyone else know what the filters above are like for performance?

thats right andrew! i didnt bother with the refurb kit, as you didnt get spindles in it anyway, just got two jets and two spindles

i dont im afraid.... sent those other carbs back...

don't need filters.... not like they are sticking out the bonnet.... might put some tights over.... they don't half suck, i put my hand over and you can feel it! immense!
