Couldn't say for sure, mate - i would guess that it will take longer, As you've just re-ringed the pistons and not honed the bores i would expect the bedding in process to be less harsh (as there's less friction) if that makes sense.

what's the spec of the 1098? i want to make a prediction on ponies...

its a standard bore 1098, 12G 295 head, and twin HS2's

There are many different opinions about running in, just do a little search on the net..
The main thing is to do the first 20 miles in once time and dont give a massive load to the engine during the first 200 miles.

You will need to search a little more than usual - I would expect (i do not know for sure)the bedding in of the rings to be different due to the way the engine has been built - usually the bores would have been honed when fitting new rings so that they bed into eachother. At least you know they're sealing well at the moment....

Yes, i think the process is little bit lighter than on a rebored engine, but its always something i'd be doing carefully.

sounds promising! i was hoping for about 50+ horses! all shall be revieled on friday!

im trying to just keep it smooth and not go too fast! its so hard though as there are alot of hills to get anywhere! and its just so quick ive been a bit naughty sometimes and put my foot down! i'm trying to behave but its just too easy to have fun! hahaa!

i hope it is quicker than ryan's jackman if it has more than 50 it will be anyhoo! lol
