well! ive been giving the bean quite alot of love!

i painted his wing with filler primer yesterday, then skimmed the little bits i'd missed with more filler, so today im gonna rub it down and spray the whole wing, then rub it down again so its all smooth and get the colour on.

i also got him some opening rear windows that i fitted to him at the weekend:

and finaly i brought my dash back to uni with me, as i was at home at the weekend, and as promised, i have started on it!!!

i started by making the hole in the dash bigger with a dremel, so my guages would fit

so this is it so far, with the new vacuum formed front i made.

next i need to make some little brackets to hold the speedo in place, then i need to block off the hole that was cut for the fresh air vent, as i dont have those, and i need to put my battery cut off there.

lol thanks... i have 3 pairs... only shoes i wear, apart from my walking boots! converse i find are the best driving shoe :D

yeah only shoe i wear too. cant be bothered with skate shoes anymore, they make you look a pratt if you wear em with skinnies. (yes i do :D).

I beg to differ! Plims are the best driving shoe. Really thin like a racing boot so you get better feel :D.

I beg to differ! Plims are the best driving shoe. Really thin like a racing boot so you get better feel :D.

plims are like converse, just without laces. the sole is about the same thickness methinks :o

Plims have laces :) . I think the plims are thinner. Mine crack where the ball of your foot is after about 6 weeks of wearing them.
