hi, just been reading about all the antics that have gone on. This poor little car certainly hasn't had much as far as good luck's concerned, but you've done a cracking job keeping the car on the road - i'm sure a few people might be tempted to pack it all in after going through what you went through.
Love the colour - got a mk1 850 in a similar colour - smoke grey (even though you said yours was farina grey - or something like that lol).
very very nice car there - keep it going

cheers! i have had loads of good times in this car, they outweigh the breakdowns by far!! the way i see it is that if i sold him then i wouldn't get back what i spent on him... so im keeping him forever i recon, im sure when i have a job etc ill have another modern car and keep him as a hobby... his colour is tweed grey, i was going to go for smoke grey but i couldnt find a picture so i wasnt sure what it looked like.. would be nice to see yours!

(off to do some MOT repairs now...!)

Ed

How reliable is the Bean ed ?

I'm sure it's reliable as the day is long - aren't all minis? O_O

It must be a mini thing, ours kind of coughs at you on a semi-regular basis - Which isn't great considering all the drainage holes that need gromets plugging them :dontgetit:
