well he failed because he's a big pansy... and the MOT guy was an idiot, kept saying how he hated minis and i should get a corsa or a punto... i wanted to punch him square in the face...

he needs new front bearings, a trackrod end, steering rack boots, and a tyre... tisk....

Ahhh that sucks mate!
Sounds like the MOT man is a bit of W****r!!
At least they're not huge jobs, just those front bearings are a bit pricey!

hi, just been reading about all the antics that have gone on. This poor little car certainly hasn't had much as far as good luck's concerned, but you've done a cracking job keeping the car on the road - i'm sure a few people might be tempted to pack it all in after going through what you went through.
Love the colour - got a mk1 850 in a similar colour - smoke grey (even though you said yours was farina grey - or something like that lol).
very very nice car there - keep it going :D

what a scrote. he was obviously a boring, opinionated chav who cant accept that a small british car was better than his punto.

by the way the large door pockets you were looking for are the pockets fitted to all the MK1 doors, in not sure if the fit Mk3+ doors as they are the whole length of the door on the MK1 doors...

cheers! i have had loads of good times in this car, they outweigh the breakdowns by far!! the way i see it is that if i sold him then i wouldn't get back what i spent on him... so im keeping him forever i recon, im sure when i have a job etc ill have another modern car and keep him as a hobby... his colour is tweed grey, i was going to go for smoke grey but i couldnt find a picture so i wasnt sure what it looked like.. would be nice to see yours!

(off to do some MOT repairs now...!)
