Hey ya ted, nice work on your mini mate as always, im yet to even get close to renovating mine Retro yet.

But i have a question,
your old dash, is it just one of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.u...o...:1|240:1318

if so, what did you use to make all the holes for your dials and Switches etc?
as im really stuck with my dash i want something Works-esque.

liirge: yer that is pretty muh what i got, although i opted for the "mk1" option as it was called with two flat panels rather than the boxier section on the drivers side. to make the holes i used a drill and a set of hole saws, i made a card template first to make sure its what i wanted before taking the plunge...

i have been graced with glandular fever whilst being home this weekend so im staying here probably until next week... it sucks because i cant work on my car and im so close! and i dont have uni to distract me from wanting to work on him! grrr *cough*.... lol

well thankfully i have got better (hurrey!) and now i can actually get out of bed without feeling dizzy... lol

so ive been up and about and i remembered i brought my dash home to take to uni to fit the guages, so i did it today sat in bed with a board and a cutting mat! all i had to do was use a stanley knife as i made it out of plastic rather than metal or something else, clever! lol

so heres a couple of pics... phone pics im afraid as my SLR is at uni!!
