
Diff Mounting Suggestions

Im looking for pictures to give me an idea of how to mount the diff in my bike engined project, if doesnt matter regarding front of rear engine, just wanting some ideas!!

Also, what sort of drive are you going for? Chain, or propshaft?

sorry to hi jack the thread but have you got anymore pics / info on the chain drive thats in the pic?? Looks a good design thats using the original mini shafts but there doesnt seem to be a dif as such just direct chain drive with only gearing adjustment depending on the sprockets used or is it in the unit to the right of the sprocket?????

I want to know how to connect the chain to the shafts so that they drive the wheels in the right direction.
Any pics, diagrams or advice would be great.

I am looking to mount an R1 engine into the back of my Cox gtm.
I will be mounting it to the subframe like this.
I want to know how to connect the chain to the shafts so that they drive the wheels in the right direction.
Any pics, diagrams or advice would be great.
There is a chain driven box behind the engine containing two gears and the diff, this corrects the direction of drive
