Looks sound mate.

I've been doing a customers mini at work last week and today. Its had new front panel, new A panels, inner sill repairs and new outersills, rear valance and some general little repairs.

Other peoples bodges are quite scary when you get poking! This one we're doing has had the the rear subby mounts filled with jam! (fibreglass filler)

How do they get away with that!!

Hah tell me about it mate! I knew of a guy who bought a 1275 gt, drove it home and the sill fell off. Someone had "made" one out of a fencepost... I'm being deadly serious.

Luckily this one seems ok, just the odd bit of dodgy welding. Although it's had a bump around the rear N/S light panel, and instead of pulling it, they've just filled it, so now it looks right, but the area around the bottom of the light is about an inch thick.. wouldn't it be easier to buy a slide hammer? Gah some people! >=]

Good lord! They must hav edone a good job disguising it so that he didn't notice when looking it over.

Car looks to be coming along brilliantly! Your work makes me feel much more confident about my own car, showing how somthing that looks so bad can be made to be a perfect mini again as long as your willing to put the effort in =]. Thanks for that.

I know! I never saw it myself, but yeah.. dodgy. The same garage used to spray cars with dulux. Nuff said.

Thanks for the kind words. Anything is possible!

When I said looks so bad I meant the sills by the way. Just realised how much that sounds like I'm being really horrible.

Top work. You got some good bodywork skills there. :)

What are the plans for the rest of the car? Engine, suspension, brakes etc....

Cheers  It'll be staying pretty much as it is engine suspension and brakes wise, it'll be going to my sis when it's done, and it all works so she's happy! It's stage 3 though so it goes quite nicely :)
