Fantastic project Peter, glad it all came out even better in the end after your set backs due to others.

I hope you're not going to sit twiddling your thumbs though, I love reading your project logs :D.

No worries there, the mother inlaw needs fitted wardrobes, but after that I'm building a Paul Smith replica out of my cooper. Yeehaa!

Well not really, it's built for my sis, so what she does with it now is up to her! I reckon it needs lowering and the brakes upgrading, other than that I think it's pretty nice as it is.

That's absolutely stunning - what a great finish. :(

Were you not tempted to deseam the whole car? Lot more work, I know - don't mention it to your Sis in case she asks you to do it! LOL ;)

Hope you're enjoying Weston-Super-Mud?

Cheers,
Steve

FINALLY finished the painting. Beginning to think this project is jinxed. Prepped up the rear end and rear N/S quarter last night, went into work early to get it to the spray booth and thought I'd check it over for any other damage just in case.. Realised there was damage on the front O/S wing where something heavy had been dropped on it, and a dent in the drivers door. GRRRREAT. Turns out the apprentice at work dropped an A frame on it and "forgot" to tell me. Cheers for that mate :D

Anyhoo, repaired the damage, and got it painted. Decided to respray the whole front and as I had to paint the bonnet anyway

Not done much on Tiny of late, waiting for a mate to repair the dents in the roof for me, I can't bring myself to do it for a second time!

Decided to fit rover 220 seats, couldn't find any Corbeau classics in my price range. Had big problems with the bases, the factory ones weighed about the same as Wales and made the seats roughly as high as the Eiffel tower, so I chopped them off. Managed to make some new ones fit in the end, after alot of head scratching! they look pretty good in the car, will look great with a clean and when the rest of the interior is done.

Pete can i ask for any tips etc you have on making up frames for the 220 seats, i am also scratching the top of my bald head as what is the best way to sort them out, also when yours were done did they tilt forward ok for kids to get in the back of the car.
Many thanks for any help you can give and keep up the outstanding work.

Steve.
