i wish i had your notivation. i got fed up rubbing down my bootlid after about 10 minutes :proud: maybe when its fresh paint you have more motivation :D

Well alot of the paint was old, and had been baked twice so it was rock hard. Took me 2 days to polish it all over. That was using Mirka polarshine C20, which is like g3 but slightly better.

i love the colour of the engine,what colour is it and is it a steel or a fiberglass front end

It's BMC green, you can get it in an aerosol from Moss. The front is a fibreglass one, only kept it as it was on the car originally, took alot of fiddling about to get it to look almost right.

Well after working every night this week and all day today, she's bloody finished! :angry: Well, apart from an MOT.

Decided against fitting the planned rover 220 seats as the interior was looking too retro, thought it would ruin the look so I fitted the seats out of my Cooper. (next project!)

Also fitted nice new dash panels and door cards with green stitching, courtesy of Retro Retrims, (bert998). Cheers Chris :angry:
