FINALLY finished the painting. Beginning to think this project is jinxed. Prepped up the rear end and rear N/S quarter last night, went into work early to get it to the spray booth and thought I'd check it over for any other damage just in case.. Realised there was damage on the front O/S wing where something heavy had been dropped on it, and a dent in the drivers door. GRRRREAT. Turns out the apprentice at work dropped an A frame on it and "forgot" to tell me. Cheers for that mate

Anyhoo, repaired the damage, and got it painted. Decided to respray the whole front and as I had to paint the bonnet anyway

Standox compliant. Bloody great stuff, flows out great, but takes ages to dry like all the other compliant clear coats.

I realised that dirt came out of the gap at the top of the wing due to it being a flimsy FG front, so I got some D profile sticky rubber and it worked nicely.

Just been through all 22 pages while sat at work, project has been carried out to such a high level, great work and i enjoyed the read very much.

Where can i get my hands on some of this here by sticky rubber trim, as would solve my forseable problems. haha

cheers
James

Hey, I got mine from Phoenix Trimming Supplies, they go to the major mini shows. I have about 6 inches of it left over if it's any good to you!
