Nice repairs, pretty disheartening to be doing it again though. Think they will be as straight as they first time?

Good to see it coming on, should be a cracker.

Cheers, it should be straighter, I was aware of a few bits that weren't quite right, but only noticed them when I lacquered it!

Looking good Pete. Did you manage to sell your shell up north or have you still got it. Could be interested.

Progress has been a bit slow of late, but had Saturday afternoon off, so decided to get cracking and repaint the roof.

Couldn't get hold of a paint booth to use at short notice, so I made a little room out of polythene sheets :dontgetit:

It was going to be going solid black again, but a mate mentioned he had some metal flake samples.. needless to say after a phone call to my sister, the decision was made

4 coats of lacquer later

Cheers guys ;D I'm not sure about the metal flake either Jack, I keep lifting the cover off to have a look, and I think.. I like it. It's quite subtle, and a bit different which is kinda the idea. It's quite straight, in fact better than it was previously, still needs a good flat and polish And yeah it's been knocked about a bit being moved around the place several times, at the weekend I'm having to re-paint the rear end, and N/S quarter due to dents and chips, that have magically appeared. Caused, I believe, by the dent fairy.
