Decided to fit rover 220 seats, couldn't find any Corbeau classics in my price range. Had big problems with the bases, the factory ones weighed about the same as Wales and made the seats roughly as high as the Eiffel tower, so I chopped them off. Managed to make some new ones fit in the end, after alot of head scratching! they look pretty good in the car, will look great with a clean and when the rest of the interior is done.

well just read the whole 20 pages for the last 30 mins. and im speech less
its is unbelivable.
im 15 and had mine for 2 years. it has just been sprayed in brg looks pretty much like (colour) ures apart from the roof.
1 quick question. what are you going to use to polish it with to build a lacure up with because i am unsure of what to use.
hope those people who dented it rot in jail
also how well do those seats fit because they look lush. can you fully recline them without catching much. also just to check there rover 220s arnt they.
cheers mate

Why thank you kind Sir!
I'll be flatting the paint back with 1500 and 2000 grit wet&dry, then polishing with a machine polisher, using Mirka Polarshine c20 (like Farecela G3 but better IMO) then run over it with softer compound sponge on the polisher with finishing glaze.
The seats fit very well, I had heard there would be problems getting to the handbrake, but it's fine. I have fitted them the opposite way round to how they would have been in the 220, so the passenger side is on the drivers side. This way the mechanism is on the inside of the seat, and doesn't foul the rear bins. They can recline about an inch before they will hit the bins. Position wise, they are pretty much perfect, I'm 6'4 and I fit fine, slightly cramped, but I made them to fit my sister who is shorter than me!
Oh and Black arches will be fitted when it's polished! No stripe though, trying to keep it looking simple.
