Alot of people think bodywork and especially paintwork is a done and dusted afair i have seen numerous times where people say "can you just repair and paint this scratch" or "remove this tiny rust spot on my bonnet" and they have no idea the amount of time and effort invested in the job, to see what you started with and ended up with especailly considering you have done it after hours after doing bodywork all day is even more impressive considering the imacualte job you have ended up with
well done and good luck finnishing it off

just read all through this, and I have to say what a top job! The your paint work is really great, love the finish you manage to get.
I had a carbon front on my car but went back to steel in the end. The guy who did the spraying was a total cowboy, and although it looked really good when I picked it up, and after I gave him £1200 the paint went all nasty, its really thin in paces and the finish is awful.
What I am trying to say is that it is very difficult to find someone that I would trust with my car, Mini or TVR, but seeing this I would trust you with both.
Excellent work, top job - mabe have some work your way soon
Cheers and keep the reports coming

Simply amazing, i can do all bodwork and paintwork as im a trained painter, panel beater, repairer/fabricator and also a valeter (although you wouldnt think the latter is true by the current state of my car ) but the time scale and the way you make the job look so straight forward and dare i say it 'easy' is astonishing

Completely agree with what you say, most people have no idea of the work involved.
Thanks for all the kind words folks! Not got very much done recently, I've resigned from work, due to stress and incompetent management. Plus I've got bored working on modern cars, I'm starting HERE in March, restoring Air cooled dubs! Pretty much a dream job.
Anyway, because of all that my boss is being a bit of a pain and not letting me stay on after work, and only had 4 hours to work on it today.
Since I last posted, I've got the back built up, petrol tank, battery, lights, boot etc, and got it running okay, although it's not running quite right, I'll have to have a fiddle with it when I've got it home. Today I fitted up the FG front, and half fitted a new headlining I got off Bert998, otherwise know as RETRO RETRIMS It's fitting nicely, just got to glue up the sides now, then trim it around the edges.
No pics as the Mrs has nicked my camera!
