just check out the german minispeed site and can't find an parts to match.
but i am trying to sort out a flip front in steel that open like the american vtec style. if i come across anything that works from off the shelf i will keep everyone posted.

Looks good till the bonnet catch lets go while you're driving along...

Why would having gas struts be any more of a problem than without.
Thats what the safety catch is there for.
If it's not there the bonnet will come up if the main catch fails whether you have struts or not.
If it is there and working then the gas struts still cannot open the bonnet.

wouldn't have thought it would open the bonnet if the struts are horizontal anyway.....

I'm with nev - the site search tool doesn't work well at all, get the techs onto it because it puts people off very quickly - I know I've spent at least £100 elsewhere recently simply because I couldn't find the minispares item. 'Page 15 of 32' type search results get old quite quickly..
