hello evryone,
im back after a year of not having a mini and i have aquired a 1989 city E.

for its age its in fairly good nick only the doors really let it down but these will be sorted eventually.
no pictures as of yet but i have already bought a load of goodies for it.

cream cobra buckets with matching doorcards
chequer plate effect dash
all chrome interior handles/knobs
new carpets
mk1 grille
mk1 bonnet
4x wipac spots
halogen headlights
clear jewel rear lights
clear repeaters
gp5 arches ( i think )
13 x 7 starmag deep dish alloys
chrome exterior handles
stage 1 kit

plus a few more little bits and bobs.

the front end has not subtantial rot however i have discovered that it has had a knock at some point and the dent filled with filler,, however there is no rust underneath so must have just been a lazy bodyshops work instead of beating it out.

only 49k genuine mileage and it drives better than my old mpi ever did.

pictures coming soon!!!!

right i got a few pictures of it in its current state,, i already have most of the bits i was gonna buy so iv started fitting them already.
biggest job rewiring which has started already.
the new wiring will have a proper fusebox with everything seperately fused as it makes life a lot easier when coming to fault finding..

also can any reccommend a good source for a battery isolation switch??

reet got a bit of the re-wiring done today, old loom was ripped out last weekend.
managed to get the front end done all the lights, ignition etc... done and wrapped in its blue cover.
luckily wiring is my occupation so not to many headaches.. just make sure you write down as much info to help yourself as possible.
iv been identifying the cables with some cable numvers which we use at work so once done i can make my own wiring schematic on CAD using the cable numbers iv chosen...
should get the fuseboxes in tommorow so all the lights etc.. can be seperatly fused to make fault finding easier in the future...

also managed to get my mk1 grille fitted now the wiring behind it is done.

Black does look good, just remember it does show up imperfections on the car itself real easily!
