Well im currently back at uni in cov which sucks as the mini is back home just outside gloucester. Although is giving me time to think about the more fiddly details such as the dash layout and interior and exterior details. Where about are you ed? Tim

Right, took the drivers door off the other day ready for the bottom of the door to be cut out and replaced so decided well it was off to prep up all the closing sections of the car including the door and window pillars. Looks so much better with no rust and grime.

Right now time for the real buisness.
After spending several long days refurbing and re-spraying my cibies i quickly bolted them onto the front of the car to get an idea of the shape i need for the lamp bar i now have to make.

Me thinks a spare battery in the boot and a couple of concrete slabs may be handy under hard braking to stop it from nose diving. lol

hehe those lights look wicked!!
Cheers matt, i spent ages looking for spotlights and decided to cough up that little extra and get cibies. So glad i did now. Changed the bulbs on the test bench the other day to 120 each. Fired it up and was like having the power of the sun on the front.hehe

Nice, i cant remember the exact date for coombe but its at the end of the summer. I was gunna make some 2up 2down brackets but have decided against it and am crrently working on a single piece of bent cds tube (sorta like the ones on freelanders on the bull bars) cant believe i said that, i feel dirty now, lol.
The only down side is that now i need a new very good alternator to run the damn things.lol
Although first on my list is to get rid of that horrible grp bonnet and fit a proper metal one!!

Also got bored so cut myself a new grill out som old mesh, with a bit of white trim it might not look 2bad.

It also appears that a large area under the middle of the windscreen was rusty or filler so have decided to cut out a square section and weld in a plate.

Also bubble wrap is the best thing ever for maskin up because if you're stressed or angry you can just take a rest and let the popping fly! lol
