Yeah the webber box was a bundle of joy although removing all the fibreglass insulation from behind the dash was the most fun, lol. Im in the process of making a larger new one that will be rivotted and then welded in place. Yeah its a webber 40dcoe because as far as i know its only a 1300 so didn't quite want to kill it yet, well not till ive got the head done with the roller rockers and the kent 286 cam shaft, when i have the money anyways, lol

thought itd be a 40, and yeah a 45 on a 1275 would be a little overkill wouldnt it

i'd like a webber on mine, but that would mean loosing my centre speedo, which i like far too much!

what sort of interior are you having?

Well at the mo im trying to decide what buckets i want, already got my 3inch wide 4 point fia harnesses, probably no carpets, gunna make a fibreglass dash with large rev and speedo with oil temp, engine temp, fuel gauge and vacuum gauges, master cut off switch, lots of toggle switches for other stuff and alloy door cards. No stereo as the sound of the engine should be enough, besides i can always use my ipod or sumthin on long journeys.lol. What interior have you got?

i have a centre speedo with the oval pod around with a clock nad oil temp on either side, then i have some of those works rally dash panels (yet to be completed!) with a rev counter, temp, amps and volts plus big ignition and oil warning lights, gotta have those! then a bat cut off, then i want some speedwells and i have a mk1 switch panel with the centre ignition, then i have 4 point harnesses and will prob get a rollcage at some point...

Rite, started refurbing the clocks this morning and realised that my mate had managed to put the cap for the chrome paint onto the silver can, damn him but this will have to do for now although it is growing on me.

After spending a bit of time trying to clear all me tools out the interior i noticed a small patch of fibreglass in the drivers side footwell. After 30mins of picking and chisseling looks like this.
