The outer main plastic housing (bit your stare at while driving) dose pull off. But I always just unbolt the lot from the engine bay.

The clock surround does just pull off. Is it the surround your trying to get off or are you trying to remove the clocks?

I only need to take the casing off to fit and measure up new dash cover, would rather not take the whole lot out, any other ideas, if I get a mate to pull it off will it break?

It depends how its held on. It should just hae some little clips that hold it in place. But if they've broke, somone might have screwed it on or glued it on i guess. It shouldn't take too much effort though, certainly not enough to risk braking the surround.

Yeah a few of the clips on mine were broke so i just screwed mine onto the clocks and then just do as big adam does if i need to remove them - remove the lot, using the bolts on the bulkhead.
