Cage is in but still needs the front section spraying and new carbon Mk1 boot lid.

The Anorak, The red cooper of yours that you showed going through the 6 years, it actualy looked best on the first 3-4 pictures!

I will get some of mine up, when its been fixed and had its new wheels and arches on and been polished up!

Here she is... 1976 mini 1000 (but export version, sent to NZ, so had Clubman 2-clock binnacle), later imported to US re-vinned to 1973, then made over to look like a 1990 cooper. 1275 A+ engine, Longman big-valve no-lead head, SU HIF6, minispares intake, maniflow LCB medium bore exhaust, 8.4 discs in front, hi-los all round. Goes like hell but the transmission sounds like a rock tumbler . So that'll be a nice project for next winter...

Hes full off battle scars ,but totaly standard on the bodywork apart from the arches....

I was thinking on changing the colour,but now relized how rare the colour is ,so thought best keep him Anterlope lol...

This is me Neon just acquired - 25,000 miles I believe original. Low even for Guernsey! Some rust bubbles beginning in the usual places after 17 years in the sea air, but otherwise quite sound. Completely original as far as I can tell, apart from Pioneer speakers installed in the rear. Any ideas on siting front ones, as this is my first mini for 30 something years!

since photo's taken, engine subframe out, all interior out
have done quite a bit on her now, but broke my wrist september and couldn;t even hold
a spanner let alone a grinder , then xmas etc.. got back on it this week most of the right hand side is done, new rh outer sill, right A panel, right hinge panel (mk1)repaired rf wing new front panel, new lf wing, repaired both doors, bonnet, boot lid, rhr 1/4 panel
including repairs to firewall,where the hinge panel fixes to, (see holes) and rh inner sill and floorpan etc... still got lh side to do, and so the mission goes on..
IT WILL BE WORTH IT!!! (thats my mantra lol)
