my Austin 998 city e 1987. got it about 2 weeks ago. im happy with it its got a checked roof but looking to get a new whole body respray. not in no hurry though! the front bumper is dinted, cracked and rusted! few things to do but hopefully get them sorted! i will get some better pics tomorrow!

While looking for possible bits and pieces for my 1963 Mini 850 restoration I came across this Moke 800Km from home near my son's place in Rockhampton, central Queensland, Australia. The car itself was stripped but all the bits where with it as it had been one of two and one good one had been built out of the two so this was the 'second best' car. The chap said I could have the car for zero $$$ but he wanted the wheels and the canopy. Well I couldn't find any wheels and as we were discussing how I was going to get them back to him I suggested I buy them (there's a novel idea) and after a bit of haggling and emptying my wallet of $120 (going price for Sunraiser wheels is $500) I have a Moke restro as well. But the wife says it has to stay at my son's until I finish the Mini >
