1972 MKIII 998 A+ with an unidentified body kit. Yellow/Black theme follows throughout the car, although it is shoddily done (by the previous owner; will iron out more of the kinks when I get the opportunity to go back to malta this summer!

I';m not a big fan of body kits on the minis, but i dont know why but i quite like it, i think its due to it being rather subtle

Thank you :). Yes, I am not a fan of body kits much either, But when i bought the car I just fell in love. I agree, It's nice because its a little subtle. My next one I build (maybe, if I get lucky, the MkII i recently found in the states will be mine!) will be more classic with some modern influences though, with miglia flares, deep dish 10x6's, and 3/4 inch spacers.

I will be re-doing the kit this summer. The paint on the rear bumper under the boot is on the shell itself, so the line looks stupid. the gaps on the kit are horrible as well, and i need to attach the front bumper better, as its gotten bashed far too many times.

That yellow mini is incredible. I'm currently restoring a yellow HL and I was going to perform a colour change, but after seeing that, I'm tempted to keep the colour!

Incredible mate!

Have you got a progress thread with some more pics?

No progress thread yet, as I bought the car in that condition and have since to do much interesting work to it. I'll get one going this summer though as I update the car.

Nightmare! I would be really interested to see some more pictures... Could you send me some?

Rarely see them in yellow with black bits all over!
