cheers mate, glad you like it!! i did consider group 3's, but the lure of chrome was to great! white can be the best and wors colour for a mini: makes em look fan- bl**dy- tasctic, but the moment the exterior starts to rust.... well, it sticks out like a sore whatever, but i took the chance being as i always treat my mini with top care, even tho im 17 and its my 1st car!!

Im 18, and this is my first mini (see other page)

and yes, i try to just wait out and buy the best things. I think the next think i will get will be group 5 arches. Think it would suit ?

Another Teapot ramble down Memory Lane ...

Very nice car, stealth05, and reminds me that in 1964 I put a similar reversing light on my new Austin Cooper but never connected it up ... just for the same reason I used to take the wheeltrims off to make it go faster ...
Also as I was cleaning Huey's wavy grille the other day I suddenly fell into a time tunnel and was back doing the same thing 45 years ago ... getting me fingers trapped between the metal slats and there's a bumpy feeling as you run the duster along the scalloped front ... ho hum.

I need advice... I'm thinking of buying group 2 fibreglass arches for my mini.

Do you think they would suit it? ...If not, which should i get. or if not arches, what should i buy/do instead?

But i would go for Group 2's.

yeah i am really happy with the progress so far and the bling was fantastic just a shame that 2 of the parts weren't polished on the correct sides so they have had to be painted

and the starter motor looks great now that i have put it all back together of course it doesn't work (should have checked it worked before i stripped it down have to get another one and swop all the insides over to the chrome one
