This was a feature car in one of the mags - The exhaust was really smart but the rest of the car was 3D flames in steel. Not to my taste but by the end of it he'd have been a demon welder.

I reckon he'd be able to sell those endpipes for quite a few squidleys if he wanted too.

After looking through this thread i've decided to go for this exhaust, however, i'm still pondering whether to go for a centre or side exit (just got an email back from somerford with the details for both centre and side exit). Does anyone have any photo's of this or something similar (twin exit) as a side exit system rather than centre?

I think you'd have to have it custom made. His is designed only for MPIs I think.

Although....

This site says if you convert your Mini to run a cat you can have this exhaust... Not sure if that would be beneficial at all though.

personaly if you have a twin exhaust i think it should always come out the center and not the side !

if i was to buy an LCB manifold, would it be possible to connect it to a Sportex jap style centre exit rear silencer?

does anyone have any experience with the sportex jap exhausts, any pictures. how do they sound, what are they like etc. and do they fit onto the lcb or do you have to get a link pipe?
