Bert, if your worried about speedo, why not use a sat nav for speedo, and some even bong when you reach the speed limit, plus they are usually more accurate than any speedo fitted in any car.

is this really as simple as it seems iv been loking to upgrade my a series but the cost is quite high for the power i want but a micra engine is not hard to find at a good price. can i retain my 10" wheels with cooper s brakes?
If after looking at the photos of the modified subframe, engine mounts, cut and shut drive-shafts, and all wiring, you think that you're capable of copying it, then yes it is as easy as it looks! Good luck

a few days ago we started our second CG13 project by first atarting the engine on the floor. this conversion is going to be fuel injected this time and the engine sounds solid as ever!
just listen to the rev range on this engine!!
we also had trouble keeping it upright!!

Amazing! I'd be very interested to hear how easy or hard it is to seperate the ECU and engine wiring from the rest of the loom.
