looking good mate although do you think there will be enough strength across the back low down, i was told to add more bracing to mine due to the large cut out for the diff at the back right hand side!
good effort!
Its not finished yet, its of for another dry run in the car

the mini's great im glad i done it and took the plunge there was a few times that i gave up
but persevere i did and its great just a quick question it runs hot to hot i think it is down to
using mini rad,ive just put in an old mini thermostat 75 degreee one im going to try
that later have you had any similar problems.

it still runs hot ive now got a 75 degree mini therm in it i dont think that running with 10" wheels helps far to revvy dont half goWow loving this! Engine should run @ about 95deg peak and stay within 85-95 under normal conditions. OEM ecu controlled the fan to turn on at 95 FYI.
it is proberly running very high revs which will make it run hot so need to swap my 10" for some 13"if i can find some and try that

Would you be able to give us figures for the revs run at say 50 60 and 70? (with a sat nav speedo if you've got one, just so it's right, mines miles out)

ive not got a rev counter on mini but my speedo reads 10 miles down on compareing with sat navI ran some figures on an online gear to speed calculator and seem to remember 5th on the 1.3 box on 12" wheels came out at around 130 mph at maximum revs if my poor memory is correct (can't remember the site)
4000 rpm roughly 80 mph

and on 10" wheels http://www.fatboyrac...x...h&Compare=1
and on 13" wheels http://www.fatboyrac...x...h&Compare=1
Green is the 1275 box and red is post 2000 1.0L box
and at 4000 revs just to comfirm some of my memory still works http://www.fatboyrac...x...h&Compare=1
So 12" wheels and a 1275 final drive or box will give you an extra 11 mph at 4000 revs. 13" wheels spoil a mini I feel hence the suggestion of 12" wheels.
Another way to look at it http://www.fatboyrac...x...h&Compare=1

How about making up an alloy duct to direct air into the rad
