Make sure it's sitting in a K10 Micra and has 5 gears on the gear-knob :D

I'm not sure sorry. I do know that early 1.0L K11's used smaller CV's and driveshafts compared to the 1.3's but I have a feeling the box was the same size.

Later 1.0L K11's shared the same bigger shafts and CV's of the 1.3L one, with a lower final drive ratio.

yes its true......the smaller box on cg engines is exactly the same internally as the k10 5 speed, but alot smaller than post 98 cg10/13 boxes. the only difference visually are webbings on the outside and the GB mount holes are different.

here is a photo of the K10 and small K11 boxes side by side:

Post 538 on here could help http://www.micra.org...nk-s-k11/page11

The early K11 box still looks bigger than the box bigchief has on that engine he is about to lower in, confusing to say the least.........

i think most of big cheifs use the early k11 box that they seem to do on the 1.3's they get (jap spec model)...but i am not fully sure on this!

still wondering how people plan on doing the fuel tank?

MPI Mini would be the easiest way. Or fit the Micra fuel pump in the mini tank.

hmm, sall consider this, was wondering how the guys in trini do it really. How does injection work? does it need a pump at both ends of the system or somthing?

Just one pump in the bottom of a baffled fuel-tank and a return line for fuel, so two fuel lines, a feed and return.

You could use an external fuel pump and a swirl pot.

You need a return as the injectors need a very high and constant fuel pressure, this is easiest to arrange as in the following diagram.

Carbs use low pressure and the pump is low pressure and just fills up the carb reservoir until it's blocked off by the float.
