Just a small update Dan as been busy with my real job started to put boot lid together

ahhhh looks sooo good, cant beat a MK1 rear end!! also i have a question mate, what did you use on the rear subframe to replace the 3 weird wool looking pads? does that make any sence? lol

They were used to stop sound viberations transmitting through to body and made of felt and when you replace them soak them in oil so as not to hold water...................... :D

Hi..tcw well this has been a 4 year project so far and I have worked extra hours for pocket money so I can afford all new parts, paint job was £1500+ paint...........and this is for me to keep this time as I had to sell My last restoration project when I built my house a 1964 Austin Cooper S 1071cc
this is it with my best friend Steve at mini35 who has sadly passed away in 2001 will miss them both................ :lol:

Thanks for comments sorry as there is no up dates at the mo due to work pressure and extra work to pay for next stage, a complete Newton Commercial MK1 cooper interior, and I don,t want to rush whats a few more months ....................... :thumbsup:
