Parts are looking good. What paint did you use? Was it high temp stuff or just normal spray paint?

Hi..Brams96 I used plasticoat primer, gloss black and gold in spray cans it a strong spray paint ............

Hi... Folks did some more work started to assemble rear radius arms on sunday and today..........









now just have to put arms in place and bolt to subframe with ajuster rides...................

wow those radius arms are nice! are those the brake pipes on it that you had hanging up in your shed too? they look mint!

can i come visit this amazing mini at easter?

wish mine was, want mine resprayed and a 1275 engine chucked in by the summer whilst i build my 1330, hard to do on a student budget

Hi..Bungle and thanks for your comment and Yes I will be driving this mini and I hope to take it over the pond for mini 50th party in 2009, my last mini I restored for myself was an 1964 Austin Cooper S 1071cc that took me 7years to restore but I had to sell it as I was building a new house and every penny was needed and as I could not find another cooper s I made do with a 1990 cooper and I retro styling her to 60s...............

Thank Adcuz a lot of hard work with wire brush and thinners to clean down parts and lots of cans of spray paint looks good in time spent on finishes...............

hopefully I will have started to put front sub together.................
