Many thanks for your support poeple during this resto and I'm nearly there ....................yippee

finally got dash cards back fron upholstrer and fitted to dash...................



thats the interior finished...........................

still awaiting arches to be painted and they will not be ready till Wednesday...........getting wheels tracked tomos and will have first drive to Our monthly club meet on Sunday ....................

Hi..I'd just like to thank all you people who have followed the progress of Jennifer and I'm proud to say she is finished well almost just the wheel arches wich I still awaiting to be sprayed as painter's let me down and This is Jennifer at out monthly meet at Old Portlet Inn this morning .............................



there were only 2 minis today and 6 members ................

did a little work on Jennifet today..........................

I managed to track down the orignal carb that came with swiftune 1380 wich I bought from a fellow club member..........



then I striped it down and gave it a good clean and polished top....................



and even cleaned and painted manifold....................



this ia only a tempory as I'm saving up for a set of twin 1.5s from Nick swift (swiftune Ltd) and thats £500...........a few more extra hours work...............doh..........

What polish did you use to get your carb looking like that?

I finally got the wheel arches back after sprayer had lost them for 2weeks and fitted them today ........







this just leaves a few little jobs to finish ..............upper door chrome trim wich is in the post so they say.............
