well Its been a while but need to work to pay for stuff also Christmas took a lot out of funds...Had this as a present from my wife was having it done in Jan by an upholstrer nice prezzie..............

Just read the whole post and i bow to you sir, what a great job you are doing and what a fantastic car she looks.
I guess i am at the other end of the spectrum from your good self in that i am trying to build a complete car for only £2k.
But SWMBO has said if i finish this one this year i can get my dream mini van and have £5k to use.
Keep up the good work.

Hello people done a bit more after waiting for heated front screen from minisport................

But having trouble with bead and using proper bead tool aswell................will try again on sat............. :-

I like the look of your front screen. How does it work with the electrical connector and the window seal? Also, where does the electrical connector come out of on the the screen?

I'm looking forward to seeing more progress.

well Ed the wires come from the bottom of screen 8" in from sides and I just fitted it in to a Mk3-4 new rubber and will put wires through vents and connect then up under top rail Me thinks............wish me luck......... :-

Hi..saxo Yes its cost me plenty But this is spread over 4 years and at the moment its cost £6000................

finally I managed to fit beading to front screen rubber ....had a couple near misses when beading tool slipped out of groove.....................
