Fitted the seats/seat belts and all the chrome work. The only main jobs left are running the wireing and fitting the header tank(when I get one).
Got 2 weeks holiday soon and convinced the misses not to go away so car should be finished by 20th August. Then just the MOT  and insurance
Will post a couple of pics over the weekend.

Yeah because toddle off into the house am leave him doing all the work!! :-

Of course I help as much as I can and I am learning alot! Once something has gone into place once then I'm more than happy to take it apart and refit it! It's just Pete knows mini's very well and trying to build one from a bare bodyshell when you've never even worked on one isn't that straight forward!!!

No won't be driving it just yet. Have to sort the chain and sprocket first. Also both cars have a leaking passenger side brake caliper so will need to sort those out first aswell.

Latest pic. Not a good pic because of limited space in the lean-to. Can't get it outside at the moment because the makeshift garage door fell off the other day so had to fix it shut.

Latest pics now i've managed to get it out of the garage. All the wireing is done, interior fitted and engine fully plumbed in(except for the header tank). Waiting for delivery of wipers/washers, bumper and couple of other little bits to finish it. Should be tomorrow hopefully.
Goob news is that it has now moved forwards and backwards under its own power. Couldn't resist but try it  . Can't run it too much as the water keeps spurting out of the hose where the header tank should be  .
