unfortunate pete, going to be a straight forward rebuild? are they fairly easy to work on?

Very easy rebuild. Engine's already out waiting to go in the bin :cheese: Just can't put it all in at once. Don't want to give the bin man a hernia  .

Just got to source another engine. Hayabusa would be nice but too much money and hassle. Possibly go for a 2005 R1 engine as they are more powerfull. Then we'll see which green car's the quickest :cheese:

Jammy,
Have you got your vtec subframe yet? If not then I know a man who may be starting to build them and might want a car to use. You never know, you might get a good deal out of it.

Don't give to the bin man, take it apart sell the bits, if you sell most of the good bits you could get £400~£500

Cheers

I haven't got a injected R1, only a carb version but I'm going to use it honest.

I have done plenty but it's very time consuming fabricating everything, buying a kit would be too easy though wouldn't it

I suppose I should start a thread here a few piccies meanwhile

Cheers
David
