Only 372bhp from 2 Busas together? :gimme: Can't you get that from one on it's own?

Though obviously power isn't everything....

Well the last few days have been a bit interesting to say the least!!

After Pete arrived sunday with his mini on the trailer we set about throwing the minus on there aswell then heading off towards sunny Hull!!

The ex AA truck did an admirable job and we arrived some 4hrs later! Both mini safe and sound!

They look like some sort of twins :gimme: Are both those engines the same?

I believe they are the same engines, although I still think Ades would be better with the V8 busa... :cheese:

Once at Z-cars we offloaded the cars into the workshops set the corner weights then retired for the evening to talk about all things mini and z-cars!

Monday morning arrived and it was down to the workshop to watch the magic of setting them up unfold.

To hardly any surprise I discovered that none of my wheels were pointing in the same direction let alone forward!!! :nugget: No wonder it was a bit sketchy

After a fairly lenghty setting up it was time for the moment of truth!!!! Chris to take it out and see what he thought! With me along side :teehee:

I was unsure for some time if I wanted to be taken out for a (foooking fast) shake down run!! But decided that it must be done to truly appreciate what it'll be like when I finally get used to driving it!

I can now confirm with no shadow of any doubt that the video on my website is barely scratching the surface of this cars potential!!!! :gimme:

After about 10 mins of me praying that we were going to make it back to the workshop in one piece and then trying to remove silly grin from my face it was time to pack them back on the truck and head home!

There's a small list of jobs to do before it'll be truly finished... but nothing major!!

Just the MOT tomorrow and she'll be done!!! (except for the small list of jobs.. :fear: )

Yep both engines are the same! Not sure I'm after anymore power for now!! :saywhat: After going out today and realising how quickly corners appear I'm going to have to get used to it and change my underwear more often ..... :fear:

Anything more frequent than once a month would be a good sign I think!

Top pose with them both on the truck!!!!

What did the minus weigh in at then???
How long to set the suspension up on them?

Cheers Mark :wales:
