Hee hee. I am 21 stone, but I am 6'6" so it doesn't show (too much) but I think I need to join a gym now.
Seriously though. I am well keen to see your project finished, it is looking really good now. I like the door cards too. Are they from Smudger?

Well, I was gonna do a website for my rebuild, got the address already www.mini-maniac.co.uk and I am doing a site for the guy who is painting it for me (not quite finished it yet). The site that Ade has done is pretty cool though.

Ade's had to go to work tonight so I will update todays endeavours.

Wiring loom made and installed(not fully tested but seems ok), very sexy alloy header tank fitted and engine filled with water, chain and sprocket fitted.

Bad news is it still don't run on 4 cylinders. We can get it to run on various cylinders at various times but not all 4 at once  . Thankfully that ever so allegedly unhelpfull  Chris at Z-cars has suggested a couple of things we will be trying tomorrow night. If it still don't work then we will take drastic action and transfer all wireing, sensors, injection system and anything else that unbolts on to my engine to see what happens  .

If this doesn't work then stuff Ade, i'm going out to play in my pickup

That would be ALOT of stuffing (more than you'd find inside the christmas turkey!!).

Hope you get it all sorted soon. Can't wait to see Ade trying to get out of it at crowded shows. I mean I can't wait to see it run..Ah hell, I meant the first one!

I am currently one depressed little chap

After working till 2215hrs Thurs (day before my day off) and working from 1730hrs - 0200hrs on my day off!!! :nugget: Despite a good days grafting on the mini the little swine still refuses to run!!!!!!!!

We've tried everything Chris suggested and it still only runs on 2 cylinders  So Pete has taken about everything other than the block and gearbox to try on his engine

Am keeping about every jointed part of my body crossed that there is some problem other than the engine itself

Only time will tell...... It's days like these you start to wonder why you do these strange things......

I might take some pics of progress if I can be bothered but not much is visible or in it's final resting place anyway so there doesn't seem like much point......

WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! IT RUNS!!!!!

After Pete took the wiring loom home to compare it to his he discovered with my bike loom his engine ran the same!! Missing on the same two cylinders!! Turns out a couple of wires were connected the wrong way around so it run like a little beauty now!!

Consequently there will be a 33sec movie of it running shortly on my website  Well I'm excited
