Truly awesome Ade. 70 hours. HOLY F***. It had better be an outstanding job for that length of time AND with a 5 year warranty

Just to clarify, the 70 hours included all the prep and painting, collecting and returning the car, smoothing of the old bulges etc from the bonnet, cutting out the bodyshell to accomodate the wheels, fitting the wheel arches making brackets for the boot lid and making some inner rear wheel arches, welding some parts of the doors, painting the dash and probably some other stuff I don't know about
The car had four coats of primer and a further three coats of paint so the finish is immaculate!!
Personally I'm very happy with the price and the work and would not hesitate to recommend the bodyshop to anyone else.

Mate would you mind tellin us how much they charged?!
My local bodyshop said they wouldnt touch my project until i had it prepped... dont mind doing it but just depends if the money would be ok to get someone else to do it all - the way i see it is its pretty hard to put a price on good paint - just watchin Boyd Coddington's garage and his paint guy even wet flats the first few layers of proper paint... but it is perfect!

Ok bill is paid :sad: But have collected the door and boot! :grin: Will put some pics up tomorrow.
The car is being dropped back on Monday so will get some pics up as soon as I've had a chance to get the doors and stuff back on it.
