Might be worth keeping in touch with Scurvy. He has a minus that he's making a similar shell to.

Would be no different to a normal mini unless you make it different. It was originally a direct replacement for the rusty old metal ones. So unless you build as a lairy beast it'll be just the same as a normal mini except quite a bit lighter  and not covered in rust

Good good, another question are they strong if someone hit me or will then just smash into loads of peices?

My plan for a few years is to use a minus shell to replace my current shell so ill have a 998 minus until the insurance is better for me.

If you worried about protection in accident then you are seriously in the wrong car! It'll hold about the same as a normal mini would which lets face is not great!!

Well if its not worse than a normal mini then its fine, i was meaning if it was hit would the car just keep going through the minus because its not metal, thanks for that, will start saving up.

Ade can you still buy minus shells new?

You can buy new un-used minus shells and sprint shells from Rallysportreplicas but supply is limited. Once they're gone thy're gone. Hence the 3 grand price tag.

well they £3 k for the first one they made so its said on the site...
so not sure if ya would actually want that one ! lol
specially considering what was said about the doors they made.
althou the door mould would of been made by them (not the minus creator)

but as they do have the moulds .. suply should be endless
but i would image it just the time factor etc of making them .. ?

Mick ...

Have loads more parts arriving and trying to get a few jobs done before he goes to paint! :w00t:

Have fitted some framework at the rearend so it doesn't sway around so much when the car is being driven
