Both apparently!! ;)

Well have played some more with the brakes but ran out of time to road test them. What we did discover though was that the passenger caliper was slightly out of alignment so was dragging the brakes. Obviously never been enough pressure in the system before to show this as a problem (other problems i had noticed ie car not as easy to push as you'd think, reverse playing up/not working, and occasional clutch flairing have all now gone :D ). But the good news is that the car feels really free now!!!! :w00t: :o ;)

Hopefully all this'll add up to more time off the 1/4mile lol :o

I got them from demon tweeks. They're not particularly cheap and they come with bulbs in so aren't great as one of mine has blown already. Am planning to replace them with LEDs but you have to drill out the bulbs first. It should be fairly straight forward as long as you get the correct value of balast resistor.

To be honest I'm not entirely sure. It vertainly seems to have loads more low end torque. It's much more provokable when driving it so I'm certainly hoping so. But I won't know for sure until I try it out again.

Well yet another good news bad news day!

Good news car went to rolling road yesterday in the blistering heat!!! Was 32degrees in the rolling road area!!!!

First power run showed power was lacking a bit and loads of lean/flat spots lower down the rev range. Apparently this could well account for the bogging down whislt trying to launch it :D which is kinda encouraging.

So when it got there it was 148.3bhp by the end it 160bhp. So a little lower than I'd hoped but given the high ambients it's not too bad.

The peak torque only improved by a couple of lb/ft but the curve looked loads better! Much better lower down than when it got there :(

Now the bad news :'(

I was really looking forward to checking out the new set-up.... pulled out onto the road started to accelerate and bang...... the chain snapped!!!!! :'(

So am now awaiting a new chain before sampling the new set-up.... fingers crossed thursday friday......

Hi Ady

Results were something like this :D ^_^
